The Community Council of Neo Chorio, within the framework of its strategy for upgrading and development of the community, has carried out several infrastructure and landscaping projects in recent years, which have undoubtedly helped the development of the community.

The most important projects that have been performed are:

• Creating a new hole to meet the community’s water needs.
• Asphalting of roads in the area of land reclamation.
• Naming and numbering of all streets and houses in the community.
• Paving of rural roads with concrete.
• Landscaping of the community with old fountains.
• Acquisition of a fire truck.

The Community Council continues its efforts for even more development and improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants, promotes for execution the following projects:

• Construction of a community building that will include offices for the needs of the community council, a multipurpose room, a doctor’s office and a pharmacy.
• Creation of a bypass road to reduce traffic congestion within the village.
• Utilization of stalactites and stalagmites in the area of Kamenes.
• Installation of road lighting from Neo Chorio in the Baths of Aphrodite and up to Latsi.
• Construction of a community nursing home.
